There is a certain amount of uncertainty in the summer of 2021. This includes the way the service we provide to the community will include the highly appreciated relationship between humans that Rotary members experienced in past times. Even though the "hands facing space" mantra is undoubtedly part of our daily routine it is clear that the trust in Rotary is growing, and more members are making face-toface connections. Rotary has, however, evolved. We are still uncertain about how the service we provide to others will incorporate the highly valued human connections which Rotary Members had during prior times. It is not clear if the mantra "hands meet in front of each other" is expected to be one of the routines, but it's clear there's an increase in confidence and a determination to meet face-to-face. Rotary however has changed. Rotary's network creates relationships which last. The outbreak of the pandemic was an impetus for us to embrace technology. In addition to our meetings that are online for business purposes but we have reintroduced social interaction and service in a safer face-to facing form. The new opportunities we have discovered are combining with the lessons we have learned from previous outbreaks to provide a brand and new perspective for Rotary.
